CARROT TOMATO DOSA




INGREDIENTS:
1. RICE - 1 CUP
2. PARBOILED RICE - 1/2 CUP
3. CARROT - 40 GMS OR TWO SMALL SIZED CARROT
4. TOMATO - 1
5. RED CHILLIES - 4
6. CUMIN SEEDS - 1 TSP
7. TAMARIND - BLUEBERRY SIZED
8. RICE FLOUR - 1/2 CUP
9. SALT - ACC. TO YOUR TASTE
10. WATER - 3 CUP

METHOD:
1. SOAK THE RICE AND PARBOILED RICE WITH 3 CUPS OF WATER FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS .
2. GRIND TOMATO, CARROT, RED CHILLIES, CUMIN SEEDS, TAMARIND AND SOAKED RICE . GRIND IT TO SMOOTH PASTE . NOW ADD THE RICE FLOUR AND GRIND IT FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES . ADD SALT TO THE BATTER .
3. SPREAD THE DOSA BATTER ON THE HOT TAWA AND SPREAD OIL AROUND IT . CLOSE A LID ON THE DOSA AND LEAVE FOR 30 SECONDS . TAKE THE LID OFF AND TURN THE DOSA UP SIDE DOWN .
4. SERVE THE DOSA WITH ANY CHUTNEY OR PICKLE OR EVEN WITH KETCHUP . I LIKE TO MAKE SMALL DOSAS FOR KIDS BECAUSE THEY ENJOY TO EAT THAT WAY .

SERVINGS: UP TO 4 PEOPLE .
