BROWN RICE FLOUR CHAPATHI

INGREDIENTS:
1. DOUBLE HORSE BROWN RICE FLOUR - 1 3/4 CUPS
2. MAIDA OR ALL PURPOSE FLOUR - 1/4 CUP
3. CARROT - 1 (GRATED)
4. SALT - 1 1/4 TSP.
5. WATER - 1 1/2 CUPS
6. OIL

METHOD:
1. HEAT WATER IN A HEAVY BOTTOMED VESSEL . COVER IT WITH LID AND LET IT BOIL .
2. AFTER THE WATER BOILS, ADD 2 TEASPOON OF OIL, SALT .
3. POUR THE FLOUR IN THE VESSEL AS A HEAP . MIX IT WELL WITH A LADDLE .
4. ADD THE GRATED CARROT AND  MAIDA TO THE VESSEL AND MIX WELL .
5. SWITCH OFF THE STOVE AND COVER THE VESSEL WITH A LID AND LEAVE IT FOR 10 MINUTES .
6. WHEN IT COOLS DOWN, MIX IT WELL AND MAKE A SMOOTH DOUGH . DIVIDE THE DOUGH IN TO 10 TO 12 EQUAL PORTIONS AND ROLL THEM LIKE CHAPATHIS . I LIKE TO DO WITH A TORTILLA PRESS .
7. FRY ON BOTH SIDES WITH OIL ON A HOT TAWA . SERVE THE BROWN RICE FLOUR CHAPATHI WITH  KETCHUP OR PICKLE .
