KHUS KHUS HALWA OR POPPY SEEDS HALWA

INGREDIENTS:
1.KHUS KHUS (POPPY SEEDS) - 1 CUP
2.SUGAR - 1 CUP
3.GHEE - 1/2 CUP
4.MILK - 1 CUP
5.POWDERED NUTMEG - LITTLE

METHOD:
1.SOAK POPPY SEEDS IN HOT WATER FOR 4 TO 5 HOURS.
2.DRAIN EXCESS WATER AND GRIND IT TO SMOOTH PASTE USING MILK FOR GRINDING.
3.TAKE THE GROUND PASTE IN A VESSEL AND PRESSURE COOK TILL TWO WHISTLES.USE A PRESSURE COOKER FOR THIS .
4.ALLOW IT TO COOL.
5.ADD SUGAR AND HEAT IT IN A KADAI.STIR CONSTANTLY.
6.WHEN IT STICKS TO THE BOTTOM , ADD GHEE LITTLE BY LITTLE.
7.WHEN COMPLETE MOISTURE IS ABSORBED , ADD NUTMEG POWDER.HALWA IS READY AND ITS TIME TO ENJOY THIS DIFFERENT TYPE OF HALWA.
